Parenthood Spoilers & True Love Casting

E! Online just posted some spoilers regarding Minka’s character on Parenthood. Check out the snippet below:

Illana in Maine: Save Parenthood! Sorry, wrong article, but I just love this show. What’s happening on it?
When Minka Kelly arrives as Max’s new Asperger’s aid on Parenthood, things take a rocky jealous turn for Kristina (Monica Potter) and Adam (Peter Krause). Can we just take a second to welcome Minka back to our television screens? We Friday Night Light fans have missed you so. And poor Julia (Erika Christensen). She’s still trying to wiggle her way back into her daughter’s life, this time by teaching Sydney a little self-defense. Hope this yields better results than those swim lessons.

And in True Love news, Tyler Labine (from Repear and Sons of Tuscon) has been tapped to star in the pilot for the second time. Tyler’s True Love commitment is now in second position to his role on Sons of Tuscon. The Hollywood Reporter

Unfortunately there was no Minka on Parenthood again this week :( Hopefully she’ll show up soon in what I believe is a 3-episode stint.

In the meantime, I’ve added untagged versions of Minka’s shoot for Hollywood Life. FYI, according to the byline these shots have not been retouched.

Additional Casting for Minka’s Pilot “True Love”
filed in True Love

Jason Biggs will lead the cast of CBS’ comedy pilot “True Love,” with Dan Fogler co-starring. “Love” revolves around four friends in New York, two falling in love, the other two not so much. Biggs will play the kind and unassuming Henry, a lawyer who falls in love with a stranger (Minka Kelly) while in a long-term relationship. Fogler will play Henry’s best friend, a fellow lawyer who doesn’t believe in love. Also cast in the pilot is Sarah Wright as Connie’s (Ashley A. Morris) employer. Via The Hollywood Reporter

And another blurb from The Futon Critic:

TRUE LOVE (CBS) – Jason Biggs (“My Best Friend’s Girl”), Dan Fogler (“Balls of Fury”) and Sarah Wright (“The Loop”) have each landed roles in the comedy pilot, about a group of twentysomethings in New York looking for love. He’ll play one of them, Henry Parr, a lawyer who’s billed “Prince Charming” by the local papers after talking down a jumper from the top of the Empire State Building. Fogler then is set as Larry Meyer (“chubby, bearded, and looking miserable”), Henry’s best-friend and co-worker. Rounding out the cast then is Wright as Tiffany McDermott (“very young, Playboy Playmate type”), the nanny of Ashley Austin Morris’s character. Minka Kelly and Hal Williams also star in the half-hour, which Pamela Fryman is helming off a script by Matt Tarses. CBS Television Studios, FanFare Productions and Sony Pictures Television are producing.
