Just added a bunch of candids of Minka filming scenes for her upcoming film The Roommate which unfortunately seems to have been pushed back until early next year. Some of the sets also feature Minka with her co-stars Leighton Meester and Cam Gigandet.

Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly has joined the cast of Screen Gems’ upcoming thriller The Roommate, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film, which also stars Aly Michalka of the pop group Aly and AJ, Twilight‘s Cam Gigandet, and 90210‘s Matt Lanter, will center on a psychotic college freshmen (Leighton Meester) who becomes obsessed with her new roomie (Kelly).

It was speculated that it was going to be the other way around.  I’m excited because Minka and Leighton do favor each other if you catch them at just the right angle.
